Why do I feel sorry for this guy? Something very melancholy about him.
Perhaps the inevitable truth has just dawned on him – he is going to appear in my blog!

Ha! Perhaps he has secretely watched you make your way round everyone on the train (?) And now his time has come. He should be honoured

LOL. I actually read this the wrong way I think first of all. I thought you meant that I should honour him. Give him a medal for participating. A good idea I think! I’ll get some made. People will then be queuing up “for the honour!” Excellent – thanks for the comment. Andy

Yes, I should have written ‘he should feel honoured’. The medals would be as sought after as Blue Peter badges!

I always wanted one of those!

I agree he looks melancholic, with the downward gaze to something approaching, with the sagged cheek and chin showing inability to do anything about it. Perhaps you should’ve let him know at least one good thing inevitable is coming!

Ha! – he’d probably be waiting for me round the corner at the station with a bunch of heavies (my other victims)!! 😐

He’s actually melancholy because he can’t grow a second nose on his forehead to hold his glasses in place.
