Your drawing definitely captures the fact that he is trying but failing to fall asleep! eyes closed but the face isn’t contorted in any way. Usually when people finally succumb to sleep the face takes on a life of its own. One eyebrow raises, the jaw drops to one side, mouth gaping open! If I could draw as well as you I would try and find one of these to draw, 😄. Nice work.
